Collaborations

I am always looking for opportunities to work with other artists and musicians on collaborative projects. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss ideas.

I have experience in other creative disciplines including lighting, staging and spatial design alongside my main areas of composition and sound.

The following case studies describe how the process worked in some previous projects:

Welcome to Greeden, The Future is Brown.

Driven by a shared interest in capturing the spirit of places, Cornwall based artist Ian Guyver commissioned me to create a soundscape installation for his exhibition Welcome to Greeden, The Future Is Brown.

Royal Academy of Music: Anna Meredith Band Project.

A project devised by composer Anna Meredith, students at RAM were tasked with forming small bands. Collaborating on all aspects of our performance, myself and three other student composers created a performance based on improvisation and experimentation with the blending of non-musical objects and live processing.

Music for Film: Artist Collaboration

A london based ecological artist asked me to contribute music to a film exploring the natural environment of the South Downs National Park via multiple mediums. I reworked a previous track which I recorded on location using a bespoke instrument crafted from natural objects found whilst walking the South Downs.
